What is it that the Havasu Alliance Church intends to be?

We are a family of believers in Jesus Christ who want to
know Him, love Him, serve Him, and proclaim Him.
This statement is more fully explained by the following outline.
1. Know Him as Savior and Lord.

1 Cor. 2:2 “For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.”

2. Love Him by obeying Him and loving His people.

John 14:15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”
John 13:35 “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

3. Serve Him through a work of service.

Eph. 4:11-13 “And He gave some {as} apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.”

4. Proclaim Him in Lake Havasu City and to all the world.

Matt. 28:18 – 20 “And Jesus … spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you.”

The Havasu Alliance Church is also a part of a larger body of churches called The Christian and Missionary Alliance. This is a worldwide faith and interdenominational missionary society with over 1,100 missionaries in about 50 nations.

The vision of The Christian and Missionary Alliance is to be a movement of Great Commission Christians who are glorifying God by building Christ’s Church worldwide.

We hold the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. It is the guidebook of life, presenting Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, as man’s Savior.  By Jesus’ death and bodily resurrection, He provides forgiveness from sin.  By the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, He becomes a personal partner, giving meaning and purpose as our Sanctifier. We believe it is the Christian’s duty and privilege to give this message of hope to the whole world until Christ’s bodily return as Our Coming King.
